The prestigious former guildhall has been transformed into an uncomplicated business hotel in a central location, situated directly at the entrance to Schaffhausen´s charming old town near the train station. Schaffhausen´s sights such as the historic Munot fortress with splendid views, the Casino, the theatre and the museum "zu Allerheiligen" with it´s herb garden are all in walking distance. Europe´s lagest waterfall, the "Rheinfall" and attractive wine-growing regions are a short drive away. For dining, shopping and entertainment Schaffhausen´s picturesque old town offers a wide range of opportunities. Zurich, Switzerland´s largest city is only 50 km away. The rooms, all of them non-smoking, are tastefully decorated and equipped with shower, hairdryer, direct dial telephone, modem access, Wireless-LAN, television and radio. A rich breakfast buffet awaits the guests in the morning. For lunch or dinner the numerous surrounding restaurants offer an extensive variety of choices. Beautiful old function rooms, some with painted ceilings, stucco, old hard-wood floors and chandellers offer an ideal setting for occasions such as banquets, cocktail parties, wedding celebrations, seminars of workshops.
