Although we are only 12 minutes transfer time away from the airport and 15 minutes from the capital city Funchal, our hotel is located in a quiet but central area. Directly next to the hotel there is a supermarket. Our 41 double rooms and 5 single rooms almost all provide sea view and balcony in a pleasant and personal atmosphere. The rooms are rustically equipped with bath tub, shower, toilet, hair dryer, telephone, satellite TV (German programmes and radio) and safe. We offer breakfast and dinner, various leisure activities, wellness, a travelling companion and an internet station in the Galo Resort Sport Hotel Galosol next door. Our own diving base is conveniently reachable by elevator and in the last 3 years, it was voted as most popular diving base of the Atlantic Ocean. |

The close-by town of Canico is about 2 km away, the capital city of Funchal about 9 km. The twin studios and guestrooms of our spacious complex are allocated on 6 three-storey buildings. All guestrooms are functional but friendly providing bathroom, 2 large single beds, telephone and satellite TV. The twin studios additionally feature a kitchenette. Hotel facilities include the Tropical Restaurant with terrace, the Caracalla bar next to the heated indoor swimming pool and the pool bar with well-kept gardens as well as outdoor swimming pool and sun terrace. The location of our hotel, the attractive entertainment and trips programme and the excellent service are the perfect base for a relaxed stay on the beautiful island of Madeira. |

The estate is set in a 30.000 m² large, landscaped botanical garden with many different plants, inviting the guests to take a walk and to relax. The main building is a restored manor house from the 19th century with many antiquities and paintings. There are 166 rooms in 5 different categories available. We offer standard twin rooms with garden view, studios with garden view as well as studios and apartments at the seaside. All have either balcony or terrace and a part of the garden as well open plan spa suites with sea view and a big terrace. Some of the twin rooms do not have balcony. Guests of the spa suites have free access to the spa and wellness area. Internet is also available in all suites. The brand new 1,400 m² spa and wellness area Tep Panom offers an oasis of luxurious spa facilities such as an indoor and vitality pool, traditional Finnish sauna, ice pool, heated stone bed relaxation zone within the sauna section and a cardiovascular fitness and weight station. There are also a Turkish steam sauna, a Far Eastern-style mud bath, igloo with ice fountain and 10 treatment rooms with an extensive treatment list. No access for children under 16 years in our spa & wellness area. The gourmet restaurant La Perla is located in the manor house and has recently been awarded one of the best restaurants in Portugal by the Portuguese Academy of Gastronomy. Furthermore, we offer the restaurant Galeria, the Thai Lounge, the outdoor bar Siddhartha and the Globe cocktail bar with evening entertainment. We also present a lounge with snooker and table tennis which are free of charge for the guests. |
