On refurbishment, the hotel has undergone major interior design changes in the restaurant, also known as The Robert Peel Suite. The room has had the original beams of the hotel sanded down to their original look, which keeps in with the character of the building but also keeping the hotel in touch with the 21st century. Much of the refurbishment has gone into attention to detail. All furniture has been bespoke made such as the curtains and pictures which hang in the suite.
