Business hours of reception: from 07:00 a.m. to 08:00 p.m. The family-run, three-star Hotel Am Springhorstsee is located amidst a splendid recreation area and is surrounded by forests, meadows and a fantastic lake. All our rooms are cosy and comfortable. On request single rooms are available as well. Our sunny terrace offers seats for up to 80 people. In addition there are 3 large rustic wooden tables for about 30 people. Large sun shades and awnings protect you from a sun stroke and 3 pavilions offer shelter from the rain. For a reception with a glass of champagne on a wedding day or other celebrations you can use our terrace which offers in sunny weather a wonderful ambience. |
Clean room, friendly serice during breakfast
Price over Hotel.de was far higher compared to standard rack-rate of hotel (€ 90,- over website and maximum price direct = € 80,-). Argument was that they have to pay Hotel.de a lot of money.
Although announced, no outdoor swimming pool was present, but only a possibility to swim in the nearby lake. Indoor swimming pool facility was not in hotel, but on a nearby camping and was closed during the summer.
Furniture in room was old and really ugly '70-style.
