The property is located in the Buda part of the town, in a quiet side street, near all tourist sights and the centre.

Our 95 elegant and comfortable rooms are equipped with bathtub or shower and WC, hairdryer, air-conditioning, mini bar, cable and pay TV, direct dial telephone, ISDN, internet access and safe. The hotel offers its guests breakfast buffet from 07:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and houses a bar, business and conference room.

OUR FAMILY HAD AN EXCELLENT STAY IN CARLTON HOTEL, BUDAPEST. VERY CONVENIENT LOCATION. THE RECEPTION, BREAKFAST ROOM AND CLEANING STAFF WERE EFFICIENT, PLEASANT AND VERY HELPFUL. A special thanks and commendation to Andrea, the maid on the 5th floor.

+ nice quiet room with comfortable bed (incl. water cooker, mini bar) + bathroom in good condition (incl. hairdryer) + air conditioning with individual regulation + nice breakfast buffet (incl. dark bread, cut vegetables, fresh fruits, four kinds of sliced cheese, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs) + reception was always manned (late arrival after midnight no problem) + attentive and friendly service + note: four star hotel (not three stars as described) - I used to turn off the air conditioning, but found it turned on again in the evening (once set on 12 degree which was far too cold). - At the breakfast buffet, I missed real fruit juices (e.g., orange juice), not just some "flavored suggar water". - Towels are changed every day, instead of employing ususal conventions (e.g., not put on flor = change not needed).

Room was clean, breakfast (variety & quality) was very good, staff was pleasant, daily maid service was good Location is convenient to public transport We actually stayed one day longer (at the same price of 90 Euro /night) than the original booking, checking out on September 11 (my pre-arrival e-mail request to extend was replied to within 24 hours). The hotel is more a 3-star than a 4-star hotel. Room was smaller than we (as Americans) expected, but it proved to be comfortable enough. The room did not have any dresser with drawers, only a garderobe with two high shelves over the rod to hang clothes; this made stowing our clothes a bit inconvenient. Hotel is tucked away a bit and doesn't look like much from the outside.
