I have asked for a calm room. It was the opposite. Directly in front of my window was the air condition of the restaurant whch made noises. The elevator could be heard and there was only a locked door between my room and the room of my neighbor and so I could hear his TV very clearly. The hotel itself is nice. Hopefully next week I will have a better room.
