From Berne Airport follow the motorway to Berne. On arriving towards Berne follow the Motorway to Lausanne-Geneva. Leave the motorway at the exit Bern-Neufeld. Go straight in the direction of city centre for about 900m until you reach the roundabout. You have to drive almost around the whole roundabout and take the third exit right into Engestrasse. Stars/Recommendation
I stayed in one of the theme rooms and it was really wonderful, very homey. Room looked out onto the parklike backyard. It was only a few stops on a bus from the train station and very easy to get to. Breakfast was good as well. A unique, historical, and refreshing change.
The staff was a bit indifferent, not unfriendly but not very friendly.
