IN A PERFECT POSITION
TEA/COFFEE FACILITIES IN ROOM WOULD BE GOOD AND PERHAPS A WARDROBE OR SHELVING. OK FOR A FEW DAYS BUT WOULD NEED SOMEWHERE TO PUT LUGGAGE IF THERE LONGER. |

Alles bestens mit einem erstklassigen Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Ich werde in Zukunft wieder versuchen, ein Zimmer in einem Motel-One-Hotel zu bekommen.
Das Hotel wird vorwiegend von jüngeren Leuten besucht - die Einrichtung ist auch am Geschmack von Jüngeren orientiert (Sitzhocker im Frühstücksraum, kräftige Farben etc.). Ich bin zwar auch nicht mehr der Jüngste, habe mich dort aber sehr wohl gefühlt.
Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral und die Geräuschkulisse ist Metropolen-üblich. Bei geschlossenem Fenster hört man nur leicht die S-Bahn.
Das Hotel hat mehr als zwei Sterne verdient. Ich war bereits in schlechteren 4-Sterne-Hotels.

On arriving at the hotel we were told that we were being charged substantially more than the hotel's normal rate for our rooms by hotel.de - and this could not be changed. Very disappointed in hotel.de |

Great location, friendly and competent staff, clean rooms and a good price. A great starting point for exploring Berlin. Recommended.
The shower solution looks new and trendy, but good design should also be functional. In this hotel it's not. The bathroom floor is soaking wet after showers. |

I made a group booking (8 people) at this hotel. We were all extremely impressed with the ultra cool & stylish hotel design & decoration, the friendly, helpful staff and the location of the hotel. Great Thai & Sushi restaraunts nearby (to name but a few). Check out 'Vivolo', the Tapas place at Zwirngraben in the railway arches nearby(right out of the hotel until you get to the open square, cross the tramway and it's approx 3rd arch along). We had a great meal there, service was good and they were surprised when we wanted to leave a tip!
Great shower, comfy bed, clean, fresh, central (they provide you with a map of the city), very cool, great breakfast (can get quite busy after 9am)!! Staff were very quick to top up the breakfast food as it was running out.
I would highly recommend staying here as it is excellent value for money. All in all it was great fun and I would definately come & stay here again.
Only have a few little points to make: no soap in the bathroom so bring your own(there was a very small pot of shower gel). Rooms are not that big but fine for me as I did not have many bags. There is also no phones in the rooms so if you have a group you can't call there rooms. No tea/coffee making facilities, shame as this would have made this hotel even better. |

Nice rooms, very new (2007), excellent contemporary design, good facilities (flat screen TV with DVD in room), excellebt soundproofing, free working (!) wireless Internet in lobby (in-room WiFi available for a fee), perfect location to major shopping and business areas and many tourist attractions in walking distance
Relatively small rooms.
Having to pay at check-in (all major cards accepted) is somewhat unusual, so be prepared.
No phone or minibar in room (I never use those anyway) |
