All aspects of the Hotel were excellent. The situation is ideal for access to all parts of Berlin and close to many popular landmarks and the River Spree. Also for evening strolls and dining out the old centre of East Berlin, full of cafes and restaurants, is nearby.

Location right at the U-Bahn station, on U2 line, is super. Selection at breakfast is really excellent. Staff very friendly. Rooms very comfortable and no noise heard from either street outside or rooms next door. Rate for three nights at this time of year, including breakfast and 48 hour travel pass is good value. Would absolutely recommend the hotel and use again myself.
 Only small things to note: shower water leaks out from behind the curtain at tap-end. Shower cap and quality mini shampoo etc would be useful. (The sosp dispenser is hard to squeeze and a little bit less classy for a 4-star hotel.) Also tea/coffee making facility in room would be good. |

Very good location, close to U-bahn station.
Nice art-works in the hotel.
At first we got cigarette smelling room despite of the non-smoking room request.After our complaint it was changed.
No A/C and balcony as by the hotel description.No opening windows - room facing the inner patio of the hotel. Uneffective ventilation.
Too soft beds.
Not enough facility to decribe it as luxury room! |

Excellent in every way. Ideal situation for transport throughout Berlin. Very quiet and comfortable. Room was large and very clean.
I was constantly irritated by the need to use my room card to activate lights in the room. If one enters in daylight one forgets to do this, and suddenly it is dark and you have to find your card to activate the lights. |

| They have too little capasity for leaving the laguage after checking out. Checking out is to early (11.00). It was not possible to leave the laguage anywhere when we checked out. |

| Televison set in the one room (mine) broke during the stay and was not replaced/repaired because of weekend. Not what I expect for a 4* hotel in a metropol even though may stau was on an offer. |

Staff friendly and effecient. Very close to Underground station.
Restaurant was closed on the two nights of our stay due to a private party! Would have been useful to be warned of this at the time of booking.
Air conditioning not working (or at least not effective. Having opened the window, we were swamped with mosquitos! |

The hotel was only meters away from the U-bahn 2
I requested early check in, which I received, the hotel was very clean, and the staff overall friendly.
The room did not have air condition, but did have a fan. When I arrived there were two pillows on the bed, when I returned later, only one remained.
The window didn't open as it overlooked the Reception. My big Problem was when I couldn't open my safe at 19.30 in the evening, the receptionist told me he could not help as he could not leave his post, and I would have to wait till 22.00 for the night porter to arrive, as my money, cards, passport were locked away I was not pleased, this but a damper on my last night in Berlin. |
