The Stadt-gut-Hotel Spalenbrunnen close to Spalentor, one of the characteristic monuments of the city enjoys a central and quiet location. Our house whose history dates back to the Middle Ages, is today a modern hotel offering 24 comfortable rooms.

Large rooms with very good beds and modern equipment. Some noice from the restaurant was noticed, question is how much noice would be heared when the "cabaret" at the lower floor is performing...

Friendly staff, good breakfast, close to University of Basel and the old city. Very small room with very very small shower. No internet options at all. had to go several blocks to do email. Hotel staff person is not always there, but must call them from front desk.
