It's a pretty nice hotel with pleasant staff.

i use this hotel about 3 times a year and have always been pleased with the place (it has always been so quiet!!)but yesterday stayed in room 61, it had a loud humming noise going all night and was over a very busy door that slammed all night. I will go back but wont stay in room 61!!! OOOOH and the price on line went down £20 so wish i had waited until the last minute to book.

Extremely helpful staff, nice gym and pool + friendly staff looking after the gym (lost an expensive bracelet there and it was returned to me by a member of the gym staff, very very impressed). Room more than adequate, booked online so it was a good rate. Very northern, as an ex Barnsley person having lived away for 30 years i did get a feel of how i remember Barnsley. Residents were a combination of Spanish footballers, their hangers on and local people, also wedding parties involved in an Elvis night, strange combination but all very positive and although i only stayed one night it was a good vibe. Plastic flowers and plants, better none than plastic ones!!!!
