Hotel Description:
The 2 star Mare Nostrum Hostal is a centrally located simple yet comfortable hostel off Las Ramblas just two steps away from the famous Liceu Opera house in the very historic centre of Barcelona. From here you can visit many great museums including the Picasso Museum; CCCB contemporary culture centre; MACBA modern art museum; Miro Museum; Aquarium; Zoo and the Maritime Museum housed in a XII century shipyard. The hostel offers basic comfortable rooms with simple functional furniture. The windows are double- paned to insulate the noise from the street. In addition the Liceu metro station-line 3- is two steps away from the hostel making the entire city within your reach. The hostel also offers free internet. Continental buffet breakfast is included in the price and is served in a lounge with a fantastic view overlooking Las Rambla. Additional information; Children age 7 and under stay free in the room with parents and in existing bedding. Children over this age will be considered an adult. The hotel reserves the right without prior notification to cancel any reservation with an invalid or incomplete credit card number.

For directions from Barcelona Airport please contact the hotel. From Barcelona Airport you can take the Aerobus between Barcelona and Plaza Catalunya that leaves every 12 minutes. The journey takes 30 minutes and tickets can be purchased on the bus. There is also a train that runs from Barcleona Airport to Plaza Catalunya and departs every 30 minutes. The journey takes 20 minutes.

      Very conviently located for La Rambla. An ideal location at a competative price with friendly staff.

      the room is like Barcelona itself, never sleeps, you hear noise all night! The single room is so small that you can hardly turn around..anyway, the cost of 55euro does not matter with the quality it supposes to deliver.
