 The hotel is convenient to the city.
 Extremely expensive. For the price we paid we expected a top notch hotel similar to Residenzschloss. But what we received was a room in the attic up three flights of stairs with no elevator! We had to be careful not to bump our heads on the slanted ceiling. Instead of a double bed like we ordered, we received two single beds pushed together with a crack down the center. The room was very small and to top it off, breakfast was not even included. Also, the receptionists were not friendly at all, which is very unusual for Bamberg. I believe it would be appropriate for the hotel to provide at least a 50 euro rebate to us for all the inconvenience. We could have gotten a better room with an elevator, breakfast, and free parking for about 90 euro a little ways out of town. |

Excellent central location. A short walk 5 min walk to the old town and the new town shopping district.

Fantastic quality of hotel, rooms, on-site parking, and dining. Location within city is excellent.

I would say that my stay was absolutly a pleasant experience. The rooms and facilities were fresh and clean at all times. The staff was extremely attentive and friendly. I would definatly look to stay here again if I am staying anywhere near the area in my travels.
The only negative I found was that the parking seemed somewhat tight but I think this is inherent in the quaint but compacted city. |

I cannot fault this hotel. Our stay was wonderful. I have a special diet and the hotel went to great trouble to accommodate me. It truly was better than expected and a superb experience.

| I would add more pictures of the hotel/rooms to the website...I was not sure what to expect but was very pleasantly surprised how nice it was! |
