Hotel Schaper lies in Bad Sooden-Allendorf, in the federal state of Hesse, nestled in the valley of the river Werra and very close to the Hoher Meißner mountain massif, directly on the boundary to Thuringia. When you come to this region you will find nothing but afforested heights and valleys of attractive low mountain ranges. They all contribute to the impressiveness of the landscape around the Hoher Meißner massif. The river Werra flows through the whole region, from its south-western to its north-western part. We offer single and double rooms. They are all stylishly equipped and come with a shower, WC, Sat TV and a desk. On request we can reserve a non-smoking room for you. Friendly room service also makes part of the hotel offers. The hotel comprises a confectionery and a café where we serve homemade gateaux, cakes and different coffee specialties. Let us spoil you with seasonal dishes and plain fare in our restaurant. There are numerous ways to explore the splendid landscape. Take advantage of the many wandering and bicycle lanes or just canoe along the river Werra. Visit the historic old town featuring timber-framed buildings or the famous spa resort with its big wellness area in the Werra valley. Here you will also find one of the most successful German boarding schools for sports. Our hotel is located within the spa park, opposite the spa resort in the Werra valley where guests can take advantage of the different therapies. Doctors, chemistries, shopping facilities and a cinema are only at a stone’s throw.
