The Hotel am Schloß Darmstädter Hof has been family-run since 1949. The modern hotel has been opened after a thorough renovation presenting itself with an indoor swimming pool, a sauna and fully-arranged rooms.

All rooms and suites are appointed with a bathtub or shower, toilet, TV, telephone, mini bar, safe and a hair-dryer.

The hotel also provides an indoor swimming pool, sauna and Jacuzzi pool whose use is free of charge for our guests. You can host your family and company events in the guest room seating up to 30 people and offering buffet or menu on request.

1. The people who run the hotel are very friendly. 2. 12 hours WLAN for 3 Euro is still too much but definitively more friendly than at other places. 1. Sound proofing is bad: snoring person in next room kept me awake half of the night. 2. Hotel claims renovated rooms, but forgot to tell when, must have been at least 20 years ago. 3. Restaurant and bar were closed in the evening. 4. Much of the interior is old and worn, towels in the bathroom were soaked if you only picked them up...

Charming historic hotel with an excellent location (walk to everything). Breakfast was excellent, and the staff were very helpful. Parking was included. While the map showed the hotel location, better directions could be provided so that travellers can avoid the one-way streets and find the hotel more easily.

The hotel is good value for money and couldn't be better situated for visiting bad Homburg and surrounding area - it is right by the Schloss and central shops and five minutes from the Kur Parc and Spa. It is accessible to bus routes and 10 minutes from the main station to Frankfurt. The rom was spacious and clean with a mini-bar and access to a pool. Both bath and shower in the bathroon was a pleasant surprise.
