The hotel is in an ancient palace of the XIV century whose name comes from Valderrabanos Bishop. The city of Avila is a historic and artistic city, birthplace of St. Teresa.

The palace has 73 spacious rooms, further a meeting room for 200 people and a wedding hall for 300 people. In the fabulous restaurant "El Fogón de Santa Teresa" we will serve you typical cuisine of the region.

the hotel is at an very nice place ,in the historical centre. The cleanness in room and bath was good

the hotel is" museal"in his basic conditions,with smell of old-humidity.We got the room nr.213,he was not acceptale: in general it was very smell musty,climat control make only very warm and stinking air in room.In front of the window (distance 3m)end appr.4 or 5 foul air units from kitchen ,with noisy ventilators(in funktion until 24:00),so that the window must be closed. In bathroom (he was nice and with an comfort,in add.very clean !)the air smells musty from out of water. In my opinion,the hotel reception had to know the situation of this room ,may be other rooms are better.For stay with only 2 nights my wife and i was not willing to have trouble with moving in other room,hotel reception dont asked for our contentment or offers an up grade. Hotel was not full booked(app.25%)
