Very friendly and helpful staff. If you want quaint, this is it! Family owned. Very clean and non intrusive. Family dog wanders around front desk and loves attention. Open and airy with beautiful view of the mountains. Very accommodating and helpful. Family is delightful. Nice breakfast spread and great coffee. Great care taken in upkeep and grounds. One block to small supermarket. Several blocks from ice cream stand. Outside cafe area and bar open 24/7. Private parking in the back. Felt very safe. Ask for room that looks out on the mountains.

Problems with power...Wall sockets sparked badly on several occassions and blew out a computer speaker system. Walls are not very thick...can hear next room. You have to leave your key at the desk every time you leave. So you have to trust. But they do this to help with power usage as key card is power card too.
