Sitting within the internationally acclaimed Margaret River Wine Region Smiths Beach Resort is located immediately adjacent to world class Smiths Beach and is only a few hundred meters from Canal Rocks (an extraordinary formation of granite rocks). The site faces due north and is bounded by Smiths Beach Road to the east and north. Located at the bottom of a hill the site is largely protected from prevailing winds and its visual impact on the local landscape is minimal due to a well vegetated sand dune system. Smiths Beach Resort is the only north facing location currently approved for development on the coastal strip between Cape Naturalist and Cape Leeuwin.CityCenterFROM PERTH TO SMITHS BEACH RESORT - Take the Kwinana Freeway South following through to Mandurah - From Mandurah, follow signs to Bunbury - From Bunbury follow the signs to Busselton - Take the Busselton bypass to Dunsborough - From Dunsborough, follow the signs to Yallingup - Just before the town of Yallingup, turn left (this is still Caves Road) - Turn right onto Canal Rocks Road - Turn right onto Smiths Beach Road and follow this down to the beach where the resort is located. The trip will take approximately 3 - 3.5 hours
