Flensburg is an independent town in the most northern spot of Germany, bordering Denmark. It is situated at the Baltic Sea, with a harbour that has been relevant for centuries.
The Schifffahrtsmuseum (Museum for shipping and shipbuilding) is definitely worth seeing and contains a museum harbour with ancient ships. In the Town Museum you will be able to gaze at exhibits showing the history of the region starting at the Stone Age.
