In a central location away from the hustle and bustle of traffic, our Freienhof Swiss Quality Hotel can be found on a small peninsula where only the gentle flow of the River Aare can be heard. Rest a little in one of our well-equipped, modern rooms and enjoy the innovative cuisine of our restaurants, just a short distance from Thun’s picturesque old town and the town centre.
Our 68 hotel rooms with a total of 100 beds have been completely renovated and are modern and comfortably furnished with bath or shower, direct dial telephone, TV, radio, safe, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities.
Enjoy international cuisine and Swiss specialities in our Freienhof restaurant. An elegant setting, attentive staff and true Swiss hospitality are of great importance to us, whilst we are particularly proud of our fish dishes.
