The Hotel Mare Balticum is an apartment hotel, set in an idyllic and central location in Vorwerk, a small suburb of Sagard on Rügen. Behind it the broad waters of the coastal inlet of Großen Jasmunder Bodden can be found. The hotel is located on the inlet behind Sassnitz with its harbour and the Kreideküste (means chalk coast). The 8 km long pine- tree covered headland Schaabe with the region’s most beautiful bathing beach is only around a 10-minute drive away.
In 1995 this traditional style hotel with its thatched roof was rebuilt and offers you today 15 top modern flats with separate bedrooms and their own kitchen area with all amenities for a relaxing time on the island of Rügen. Further facilities include shower and WC, satellite TV, telephone and a balcony or a terrace. Each apartment also comes with one parking space.
There is an extra room for dogs. Guests are asked to inform the hotel by telephone in advance if they would like to bring a dog with them.
