The Château Colbert is located very close to Cholet and recalls the splendour of a period, when kings made this region their stamping ground. It is surrounded by an impressive main courtyard and conveys the impression of a small Versailles.
This hotel provides 21 guestrooms, decorated with antique furniture and equipped with marble fireplaces. All the guestrooms feature complete bathrooms with bathtub and shower, mini-bar, satellite and cable TV as well as telephone. A babysitting service is available on request.
Guests can enjoy sophisticated cooking, with the emphasis placed on local produce. If the weather allows, guests can also have their dinner on the terrace with a pictorial view on the Maulévrier's oriental park.
During leisure time, guests can take a ride on a horse, just 6 km away or play some tennis on the court, which is 1 km away. Guests also can take a walk through oriental park, which is a big Japanese-style garden.
