Our Scottish heritage and old world charm welcome you on your arrival - just like our glowing fire welcomes you as you enter the hotel. You can enjoy the authentic taste of Scotland - dining by candlelight in the glorious wood panelled baronial restaurant where we take the finest local ingredients from the Scottish highlands - available in abundance here - and carefully prepare and mould them to produce exciting dishes.
The crispness and character of the bedrooms and the softness of the individual decor combine with classic furniture to provide a delight to the eye and reflect the care with which the wonderful interior of the hotel is being lovingly restored and brought back to life. Our Monarch Four Poster and Malt King rooms enjoy the finer touches of decor and fabric carefully chosen to echo the colours and texture of this beautiful area - and creating a subtle blend of stately - graceful elegance with homely charm. These rooms have beautiful ensuites with either corner or scroll topped baths and shower.
Dunalastair also has a selection of ensuite Blend Rooms - excellent -club-class- rooms that do not have all the amenities and finer touches of the Malt Kings and Monarchs but still reflect the finer qualities of a Scottish highland hotel.
All rooms are ensuite - have controllable heating - colour televisions with satellite channels - hair dryers and hospitality trays and many boast fine views over the village and surrounding countryside.
