.INFO Awards 2010: www.hotel.info, the international domain of hotel.de AG has been nominated
London, 7th October 2010 - www.hotel.info, the free online hotel reservation service for more than 210.000 hotels worldwide, has been nominated for inclusion in the preliminary selection of the Top 10 .INFO websites worldwide.
A jury consisting of seven experienced internet media experts have made a preliminary selection of the ten best .INFO websites based on the criteria of content, presentation, functionality, design, user friendliness and originality. More than 100 websites were submitted for consideration.
The final selection will start on the 5th October 2010. Up to the 2nd November internet users will be able to choose their favourite from the 10 candidates already selected. The choice will be international and online users from all countries can participate. The competition will be especially publicised in the European countries Germany, United Kingdom, France, Spain and Italy. The USA and Canada are also included. The final result of the top three competitors will be announced shortly after the end of the voting process. The winners will receive cash prizes of between 3,000 and 7,500 US Dollars.
