hotel.de launches conference booking tool -
Together with its international brand “TravelRes", hotel.de, one of the leading online reservation services for hotels worldwide, launches its newly-designed conference booking tool.
Nuremberg, 12 November 2007 – At the beginning of 2007, hotel.de AG took over the data base, the online booking tool and the customer base of intergerma Marketing GmbH & Co. KG, who were operating in the conference business up to that point.
This conference tool has been much enriched with the addition of new features adapted to the existing user surface and integrated as part of www.hotel.de.
With this tool, hotel.de has enlarged its business model and pushed the boundaries of organising conference packages including catering, standard technical equipment and the required premises.
Corporate customers appreciate being able to book different services in a one-stop shop. For example, an overnight stay together with a conference. hotel.de is able to meet these request with its “all in one“ offer, as the customer can access any of the services using just one user account. In addition to this, transaction volumes can be displayed via a standardised statistics function. This new service enables hotel.de's corporate customers to save a considerable amount of time and money, while partner hotels will achieve a higher conference turnover.
In the field of online conference bookings, just as in the reservation of overnight stays, hotel.de relies on its strengths: its enormous hotel offering, its service and its IT competence.
The advantages of the new tool are self-evident: when searching for a conference hotel, the customer can access hotel presentations as well as detailed information and plans of all the conference and meeting rooms. In addition, there are other important features such as the vicinity search, an interactive negotiation mode, a customer base management tool, a global statistics tool and turnover reports which help save the customer up to 50% off hotel and process costs. There are now more than 2,000 conference hotels available on the platform hotel.de. During the forthcoming six months, another 3,000 hotels will be added to this figure: mainly international destinations with popular hotel chains such as Accor, Marriott, Best Western, Hilton and the Intercontinental Hotels Group.
