 An extremely peaceful location.I needed somewhere convenient for the ferry terminal at Dover and this was ideal.I will definitely keep the Holiday Inn in mind should circumstances require something similar in future.

  If you are looking for accomodation in Canterbury itself,its a bit of a trek.

 It was a one night stop over on our way to Holland for the Floriade. Although it never stopped raining and we saw nothing in Canterbury for sightseers, the hotel was a big plus and we will return. We found everyone friendly and helpful. We go to Belgium regularly to see family ao the hotel is a great break point coming from Somerset.

 Incredibly cheap and very close to Canterbury.

  Only accessible via freeway, which runs directly by the hotel. The noise is acceptable, though. If you put the above address into your GPS it will probably mislead you.

 hotel was to a good standard. ok for short stay but lacked the personal atmosphere

  food was acceptable but overpriced. hotel lacked the finishing touche.

 When l come to sleep at 2.00am,my room was smelling ciggaret,and when l checked in at around 4ish there was no smell.I dont smoke no drink and where l was no one was smoking.I called receptionist twice with no respond and l went down and explained to him,he came and sprayed some airfreshnner which was not the best thing to do at that time because i ended up inhailing all that.

 Friendly staff, sorted an early check in for us so we could change for wedding. quiet hotel despiet near road.

  late back to find bed had a plastic mattress cover on it. most uncomfortable, hot and sticky and too late really to sort. don't go for the view but does the job!

 Friendly staff. Hotel situated very close to the city centre. Although situated near a busy road it is very quiet at night. The food was to a good standard.

  Not enough choice at the bar, the breakfast was good but would benefit from hot menu. The Hotel is very poorly signposted from the main road and easy to miss. the tables in the lunch area are low and people of average height could not sit at the properly.

 We normally use Travel Inn hotels which we like. The quality of the Holiday Inn Express proved much better than we expected. Your good price and the free breakfast makes it a much better deal.
